I’m Anna Nowland, and I am an adjunct in the Philosophy department of Gonzaga University..
During my undergraduate studies, I unsurprisingly majored in philosophy, but I also minored in music and economics. I returned to school for my MA in philosophy soon after. I additionally have a personal interest in studying languages beyond their philosophical implications. While my interests tend to vary, I have a strong commitment to philosophy being more than an academic endeavor. It is a way of life and a means to bring us together, so for that very reason, I am thrilled that you’ve found your way to this page. I plan to continue my studies, hoping to further understand the human condition and the things that unify us and hopefully pursue a career teaching other aspiring philosophers at the college level. I’ve found great joy in helping students unlock their critical thinking abilities.
